Big, rich, powerful wine. Modern black colour. Chewy dark fruit with a firm tannic structure. Little alcohol on the finish but has balance. Drink 2010-2018. (17 points)

la Fleur de Bouard 2004
A firm, incisive wine with plenty of power and extract. Deep colour, dark fruits on the nose with the oak a little obtrusive at this stage. Sweet attack, full, round and warm flowing to a firm square structure. Tannins grainy. Freshness on the finish. Drink 2008-2015.
